Thank you for contacting the LA Water Assistance Event appointment booking scheduler. Local Service Providers for the Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) are hosting a one day event for qualifying households in Los Angeles to pay their past or current water bills. The Event Date is Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Concourse Hall, located at 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90015.  You can sign up here, or call (213) 643-0077 and follow the instructions to schedule an appointment. 

LIHWAP  is a federally-funded program that offers one-time support to help low-income households pay past due or current residential water and sewer bills and keep their water on. Eligibility for LIHWAP services can vary depending on income, water system participation, place of residence, and other factors. Local Service Providers are responsible for administering LIHWAP in Los Angeles County and will be available to answer questions and guide you through the application process.

Applicants who are income-qualified and meet all other LIHWAP eligibility requirements are eligible for services on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to eligible households with past due water service bills or past due on rent, particularly those households that are at risk of being disconnected or are disconnected.

What to Bring:

• Current government issued ID (applicant only)
• Proof of social security number (applicant only)
• Current water, wastewater or stormwater bill
• Verification of benefits or notice of action for CalFRESH, CalWORKs or LIHEAP
  • OR:
  • Household income for ALL adults (18+) for the last 4 weeks
  • Income and expenses for ALL adults (18+) in the home with no income for the last 4 weeks
